The instructions on where to make your rental payments is indicated in your lease. In most cases you should pay your rent to the office where you rented your property. |
This will be covered in your lease agreement. In most cases, you are required to perform normal lawn/garden maintenance. If in doubt, please contact your property’s manager for specifics. |
What happens if something breaks? Instructions on how to handle maintenance issues were given to you when you signed your lease agreement. To report a maintenance problem or request repairs, please click here to go to our Maintenance Request form. If this is an emergency, please make sure you and your family are safe, then contact your property’s manager. |
I want to move out. What do I do? Specific instructions on how to give proper notice of your intention to vacate the property are included in your lease agreement. If your lease is up and you are going to be moving out, please download our “Notice of Intent to Vacate” form and mail, or deliver it to your property’s manager. Please remember, if the term of your lease is not up, you will continue to be responsible for the rent until the property is re-rented, or your lease expires – whichever comes first. There are special procedures for a member of the military receiving new orders. Please contact your property’s manager to discuss. |
I want to get a pet. What do I need to do? Before you get a pet, you must contact your property’s manager to make sure pets are allowed in your home. Once this has been verified, your property manager will require you to complete a pet agreement and provide the applicable pet deposit. If you get a pet without approval, you are in breach of your lease agreement and may be jeopardizing your continued rental of the property. |
Am I allowed to have a room-mate? You are allowed to have a room-mate, however, any adult living in the home will be required to submit a rental application and pay the application fee, even if they move in after you have already rented the property. If there is an adult living in the home that has not submitted an application and paid the required fee, you are in default of your lease agreement and may be jeopardizing your continued rental of the property. |
What utilities am I required to pay? The utilities that you are required to pay are stated in your lease agreement. If you are unsure of what you are supposed to be paying, please contact your property’s manager to get clarification. For information on having utilities put into your name, please visit our “Helpful Resources” page. |
